
Clonaslee, County Laois
Clonaslee is a small village in County Laois, located on the R422. It is at the foot of the Sleibh Bloom Mountains. There is two church buildings in Clonaslee. The church at the end of the main street is the oldest and since 1995 it is a community center. It is Georgian Gothic-style former Church of Ireland church. Click here for details of the building
There is one main street, with shops, chemist and public houses. The Gaa park is down by Clonaslee Collage.

St. Manman’s Church was built in 1813, it replaced an older church dating from 1771. The bell tower, in the grounds, was erected in 1955 with the bell coming from a church in Daingean in Offaly. Link for the St Manman’s website here
